Privacy Policy
Effective Date: September 24, 2026
1. Overview
This Privacy Policy describes how Looks For Lease Technologies, Inc.(“Looks For Lease,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and otherwise processes personal information in connection with our website, mobile application, showroom experiences, virtual appointments, events, and all other services we provide (collectively, the “Services”). By using our Services you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy.
2. Collection of Information
Information You Provide to Us
We collect information you provide directly, including when you create an account, place an order, book an appointment, contact customer support, or otherwise interact with us. This may include:
- Contact details — name, email address, mailing address, phone number, and date of birth
- Style preferences and personal characteristics — height, weight, size, body type, and style profile answers
- Order and appointment details — items selected, occasion information, pickup and return dates
- Limited payment information — we do not directly collect or store your full payment card details. All payment processing is handled by our third-party provider, Stripe. We receive only limited transaction data from Stripe (e.g., last four digits of your card, card brand, billing address, and transaction amounts)
- Communications — messages, reviews, feedback, and survey responses
Information Collected Automatically
When you access or use our Services, we automatically collect certain information, including:
- Device and usage data — hardware model, operating system, IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and activity timestamps
- Transactional data — records of leases, returns, exchanges, and membership activity
- Cookie and tracking technology data — see Section 6 for more detail
Information from Other Sources
We may receive information about you from third parties such as social login providers (e.g., Google, Apple), referral partners, and analytics providers. We may combine this with other information we hold.
3. Use of Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the Services
- Process transactions, fulfill orders, and manage your membership
- Personalize your experience, including size recommendations and style suggestions
- Send transactional messages such as order confirmations, return reminders, and security alerts
- Send marketing communications and promotional offers (with your consent where required)
- Monitor usage trends and analyze service performance
- Detect, investigate, and prevent fraud or other illegal activity
- Comply with legal obligations
4. Analytics and Advertising
Service Analytics
We use Google Analytics on our website and Google Analytics for Firebase in our mobile app to understand browsing, product views, searches, saved items, shopping bag activity, checkout, and order and payment activity. Analytics may include device or app-instance identifiers, product identifiers, selected filters, rental terms, transaction amounts, and technical information. In the mobile app, opening a Diamond Closet list may also send its name. Our custom analytics events exclude raw search text, contact details, full payment card details, and body measurements. Google advertising features are disabled in our analytics configuration. Service analytics is separate from the optional Meta advertising choice.
Optional Meta Advertising
If you opt in, we use Meta Pixel on our website and Meta App Events in our iOS and Android apps to share browsing and shopping activity with Meta for personalization and measurement of Looks For Lease ads on Facebook and Instagram. This activity can be linked with information Meta holds about you from other apps and websites. This is tracking for advertising purposes.
- Identifiers and technical information — the mobile device advertising ID when available and permitted, website cookie identifiers, and SDK device and connection information
- Shopping activity — app or page visits, product views, searches with the entered words redacted, selected filters, saved items, bag changes, rental duration, checkout starts, and registration
- Shopping preferences and content — product names and IDs, quantities, prices and bag values; the mobile app may also send the name of a Diamond Closet list when you open it
- Order activity — reservation submission. A reservation or bag value is not treated as a completed payment, and our current Meta integration does not report settled payments
We do not include contact details, body measurements, raw search text, or payment card details in our custom Meta event payloads. Advertising sharing is off until you opt in. On iPhone and iPad, Apple’s App Tracking Transparency permission is also required. You can browse, register, and shop without enabling advertising tracking. See Section 7 for controls and withdrawal.
Learn more in Meta’s Privacy Policy and Google’s Privacy Policy.
5. Disclosure of Information
We may share your personal information with the following categories of recipients:
- Service providers — vendors that help us operate the Services, including hosting, payment processing, shipping and logistics, dry cleaning, customer support, and analytics
- Advertising partners — Meta, when you enable the optional advertising sharing described in Section 4
- Corporate affiliates — subsidiaries or related entities under common ownership
- Professional advisors — attorneys, accountants, and insurers as needed
- Law enforcement and regulators — when required by law or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Looks For Lease, our customers, or others
- Corporate transactions — in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets
- With your consent — in other circumstances where you have given us permission
We do not exchange your personal information for money. Sharing information for cross-context behavioral advertising may qualify as a “sale,” “sharing,” or “targeted advertising” under applicable privacy laws. You can decline or turn off this sharing using the controls in Section 7.
Payment processing: Payment transactions are processed entirely by Stripe, Inc. Your payment card details are collected and stored by Stripe and are subject to Stripe’s Privacy Policy. We never have access to your full card number.
6. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We and our partners use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies to recognize you, remember your preferences, and analyze traffic. Most browsers accept cookies by default; you can adjust your browser settings to decline cookies, but doing so may limit your ability to use certain features of the Services.
You can manage optional Meta advertising cookies through Advertising preferences in the website footer. This control does not disable cookies needed for shopping or the separate service analytics described above.
If you allow advertising in our Advertising preferences, we use Meta Pixel to share eligible browsing and shopping activity with Meta to personalize and measure Facebook and Instagram ads. Advertising is off until you allow it. Use Advertising preferences in the footer to change your choice. Browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals keep this advertising tracking off. This advertising choice is separate from site analytics.
7. Your Privacy Choices
Advertising and App Tracking
- Website: open Advertising preferences in the footer and choose No thanks to decline or withdraw Meta advertising consent.
- Mobile app: turn off Personalized ads on Home or in Settings. In-app advertising consent expires after 180 days unless you renew it.
- iPhone or iPad: you can also revoke system tracking permission in Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.
Your website and app choices are stored separately, so review them on each browser or app installation you use. Turning off advertising sharing stops new events from being submitted by our tracking integration; it does not recall data already sent or requests already in progress. Previously collected SDK events may still be delivered. Contact us at [email protected] to make a privacy or deletion request.
Account Information
You may update or delete your account information at any time by logging in and visiting your account settings. If you wish to delete your account entirely, please contact us at [email protected].
Marketing Communications
You can opt out of promotional emails by clicking the “unsubscribe” link in any marketing email. You can opt out of promotional text messages by replying STOP. Even after opting out, you will continue to receive transactional messages related to your orders and account.
Push Notifications
You can disable mobile push notifications through your device settings at any time.
Do Not Track / Global Privacy Control
Our website recognizes Global Privacy Control (GPC) and Do Not Track signals. These signals suppress website advertising tracking and Google Analytics in that browser. They do not change the separate advertising setting in the mobile app.
8. Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, including to satisfy legal, accounting, or reporting requirements. When we no longer need your information, we securely delete or anonymize it.
9. Security
We implement commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your personal information. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Children’s Privacy
Our Services are not directed to individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect, sell, or share personal information from children under 16. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 16, we will promptly delete it.
11. Additional Disclosures for Residents of Certain U.S. States
If you reside in California, Colorado, Connecticut, Montana, Oregon, Texas, Utah, Virginia, or another state with an applicable consumer privacy law, you may have additional rights regarding your personal information, including:
- Right to Know / Access — request the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you
- Right to Delete — request that we delete your personal information, subject to certain exceptions
- Right to Correct — request that we correct inaccurate personal information
- Right to Opt Out of Sale or Targeted Advertising — decline or withdraw advertising sharing using Advertising preferences on the website, Personalized ads in the mobile app, or by contacting us. You can also enable GPC in your browser
- Right to Non-Discrimination — we will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights
To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at [email protected]. We may need to verify your identity before processing your request. If your request is denied, you may appeal by contacting us at the same address.
You may also designate an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf. We may require proof of authorization and identity verification.
12. International Users
Our Services are operated from the United States. If you access the Services from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those of your jurisdiction.
13. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by updating the “Effective Date” at the top of this page and, where required by law, by providing additional notice (such as an email or in-app notification). We encourage you to review this page periodically.
